Jimmy Fallon is NBC’s man of the hour. His promotion to The Tonight Show sets him among the ranks of iconic TV personalities Johnny Carson and Jay Leno. Although his future is bright, his home is grounded in the past. His 1850s colonial home in the Hamptons gives him a quiet getaway from the city that never sleeps.

Jimmy Fallon SNL Years

Jimmy Fallon rose through the comedic ranks quickly, going from stand-up comedian to featured player on Saturday Night Live (September 1998). At the tender age of 23, he had achieved a childhood dream. He rapidly became one of the most popular cast members of all time. It has been said that he was also the best featured player since Phil Hartman (Jimmy Fallon IMDB). His impersonations and impressions of famous personalities are his enduring trademark.

Over the course of his SNL years, Jimmy made many multiple guest appearances on late night television shows including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (14 times), Late Show with David Letterman, Piers Morgan Tonight, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. In elementary school, Jimmy was voted most likely to replace David Letterman (Jimmy Fallon IMDB). It seemed a natural evolution of Jimmy’s career when his attention turned to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (March 2, 2009).

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

When the search for a replacement for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show began, the competition was fierce. Becoming the host of The Tonight Show is only marginally less difficult than becoming the President of the United States. Jimmy Fallon’s impressive body of comedic work in film and television has earned him 5 Emmy Awards and 23 Emmy nominations in recent years.

In 2014, Jimmy took a seat in that highly prized chair once occupied by such greats as Johnny Carson and Jay Leno (February 17, 2014). At the same time, The Tonight Show also returned to its original home of New York City, where it had not been broadcast since 1972. Jimmy Fallon is only the sixth host of the show since its inception in 1954 with Steve Allen as host.

Jimmy Fallon purchased a 1850s historic, colonial home in 2011 for $5.7 million. The Hamptons home is in located in Sagaponack, NY – a small, 8 sq. mile community with only a population of 582. The quaint area is a part of the villages and hamlets in the towns of Southampton, which form the South Fork of Long Island, New York. Fallon’s 2.2 acre property was originally a 19th century horse farm; one of the old horse barns still stands as a sign of the past. Fallon’s 3-story home has 3,500 sq. ft. of main living area, 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths (Front Door). The home features two separate guest cottages, a heated pool, and a 4-car garage. The beauty of the property is undeniable with mature trees surrounding the home. To keep things fun for Fallon, his wife Nancy Juvonen and daughter Winnie, the home is only a mile from the beach.

Ideal Jimmy Fallon Home

One of the historic colonial homes in St. Michaels, Maryland would be perfect for Jimmy Fallon. The area is aptly known as the heart and soul of the Chesapeake Bay, and still retains the look and feel of a 19th century seaport. Fallon’s Maryland home would need a huge master bedroom suite, high ceilings, hardwood floors and crown molding. To experience the beautiful waterfront living, the home should also include several waterfront acres with boat slips. Fallon and his family would undoubtedly enjoy the views of St. Michaels Harbor and walks to the charming shops and restaurants nearby.
